Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- The legend to plate 38 is non-binominal, therefore C. dolosana is dated from the text. C. dolosana is a junior objective synonym of Choreutis dolosalis Heydenreich, 1851, Lepid. eur. Cat. meth.: 63, a Fischer von Roeslerstamm manuscript name made nomenclaturally available by Heydenreich. Both nominal species are based on the specimens figured by Herrich-Schäffer in 1850. Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Heydenreich referred to Herrich-Schäffer's non-binominal legend to plate 38 and applied the binomen Choreutis dolosalis (with dolosana in synonymy) to figures 262-264 before the relevant part of Herrich-Schäffer's text was published in 1854, ibidem 5: 95, where the binomen Choreutis dolosana was proposed for figures 262-264. Millieria was included in the Choreutidae; it was included in the "Glyphipterygidae" by Fletcher, 1929, Mem. Dep. Agric. India (Ent.) 11: 140; but subsequently retained in the Choreutidae. See also: * Milliera Le Marchand, 1937; Millieria Spuler, 1910; * Millieroa Le Marchand, 1937; Ripismia Wocke, [1876]. Millieria Ragonot, 1874, was transferred to the new subfamily Choreutidae, Millieriinae and designated as the type-genus by Heppner, 1982, Smithsonian contributions to Zoology (No. 370) : 2. Millieria was treated in the Choreutidae by Nye and Fletcher, 1991 Generic Names Moths World, 6 : 193. MILLIERIA was included within the subfamily CHOREUTIDAE: MILLIERIINAE by Dugdale et al., in Kristensen (1999).
