Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- This genus was originally proposed in the Orthostixinae (now Oenochrominae), but was transferred to the Ennominae by Prout, 1910, in Wytsman, Genera Insect. 104: 2, when he synonymized Mimaletis with its junior objective synonym Provola Swinhoe, 1904. Parsons et al. (1999) included PROVOLA Swinhoe, 1904 as a junior synonym of MIMALETIS Warren, 1894. Parsons et al. (1999) included 8 species in the genus MIMALETIS.
