| Memo: | Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- Hampson cited as type-species Margaritia quadralis Doubleday, 1843, a nominal species not originally included in Mnesictena. At the same time however, Hampson placed quadralis as a senior synonym of marmarina, a species originally included in Mnesictena. Under the Code, Article 69(a)(iv), this designation constitutes the fixation of the originally included nominal species as the type-species. |
