Memo: Hemming (1967) stated:- The name Muschampia Tutt is invalid, as it is a junior objective synonym of Syrichtus Boisduval, [1834]. Full particulars are given in the note on the name Syrichtus. Cowan (1970: 52) stated:- "MUSCHAMPIA & type-species : print bold as valid; see SYRICHTUS". The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008).
