| Memo: | Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- Myriostephes was established in the Botydidae, now Pyralidae Pyraustinae; all the included species are from Australia and the genus has been consistently placed in the Pyraustinae by Australian authors. The inclusion of Myriostephes in the Pyralidae Crambinae, without comment, by Bleszynski & Collins, 1962 Acta zool cracov. 7: 327, was an error. Shaffer (pers. comm.) treats MYRIOSTEPHES in the CRAMBIDAE: SPILOMELINAE. |
