| Memo: | Hemming (1967) stated:- The name Najas, as of the Tentamen, is invalid, because of the rejection by the Commission in its Opinion 97 of the above leaflet for nomenclatorial purposes. The type-species of Najas is also the type-species of the genus Limenitis Fabricius, 1807, in the synonymy of which the name Najas of the Tentamen therefore now falls. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008). |
