| Memo: | Fletcher (1979) stated:- This genus was originally proposed in the Drepanidae, but has since been placed in the Anthelidae by Turner, 1921, Proc. Linn. Soc. N.S.W. 46: 166. Fletcher & Nye (1982, Generic Names of Moths of the World) stated:- N. flavifascia is a junior subjective synonym of Perna flavescens Walker, 1855, ibidem 5: 1128. Nataxa was established in the Drepanulidae, now Drepanidae; it was placed in the Lasiocampidae by Kirby, 1892, Synonymic Cat. Lepid. Heterocera 1: 851; and in the Anthelidae by Turner, 1921, Proc. Linn. Soc. N.S.W. 46: 166. See also: Dicreagra Felder, 1874. NATAXA was included within the subfamily ANTHELIDAE: ANTHELINAE by Lemaire & Minet, in Kristensen (1999). |
