Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- In the mistaken belief that O. albovittata, the originally designated type-species of Trichodezia Warren, 1895, lacked a hair-pencil on the underside of the fore wing and thus did not agree with his description of Trichodezia, Warren proposed Neodezia for albivittata and proposed Baptria haberhaueri Lederer, 1864, as a new type-species for Trichodezia. The latter proposal is invalid and Neodezia is a junior objective synonym of Trichodezia. See: TRICHODEZIA Warren, 1895. Parsons et al. (1999) included NEODEZIA Warren, 1904 as a junior synonym of TRICHODEZIA Warren, 1895.
