Memo: Hemming (1967) stated:- This name was attributed by Doubleday to Boisduval, by whom in accordance with that author's common habit, it had presumably been distributed in manuscript. It had not been published by Boisduval at the time of the appearance of Doubleday's work. The generic name Anthora Doubleday is invalid, as it is a junior objective synonym of Euxanthe Hübner, [1819], of which the same species is the type-species. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008).
