Memo: Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- Nesotropha was established in the Arctiidae but is here transferred to the Glyphipterigidae (with acknowledgements to Dr I.F.B. Common who has kindly examined the type-material). Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Nesotropha was establishedin the Arctiidae; it was transferred to the Glyphipterigidae by Watson, Fletcher & Nye, 1980, Generic Names Moths World 2: 126; and was transferred to the Yponomeutidae as a junior subjective synonym of Tanaoctena Turner, 1913, by Heppner, 1982, Jl N.Y. ent. Soc. 89: 261.
