Memo: Nigilgia Walker, 1863 was originally proposed in the Immidae and referred to the Brachodidae by Heppner, 1979, Entomologische Berichten 39 (8) : 127. Nigilgia Walker, 1863 was referred to the new subfamily Phycodinae, Oecophoridae by Heppner & Duckworth, 1981, Smithsonian contributions to Zoology (314) : 13. Nigilgia was treated in the Brachodidae in Nye and Fletcher, 1991, 6 : 204. Fletcher & Nye (1982) and Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Nigilgia was included in the "Glyphipterygidae" by Fletcher, 1929, Mem. Dep. Agric. India (Ent.) 11: 148; it was included in the Brachodidae by Heppner, 1979, Ent. Ber., Amst. 39: 127. See also: * Nigilica Turner, 1929.
