| Memo: | Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- but cited as velitaris Hufnagel, 1766, a nominal species not originally included in Ochrostigma. However, Kirby placed velitaris as a senior subjective synonym of austera [Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775, a nominal species originally included in Ochrostigma. Under the Code, Article 69(a)(iv), this designation constitutes the fixation of the originally included nominal species as the type-species. B. austera is a junior subjective synonym of Phalaena velitaris Hufnagel, 1766, Berlin. Mag. 3: 394. See also: Drynobia Duponchel, [1845]. |
