Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- Oeobia was suppressed for the purposes of the Law of Priority, but not for those of the Law of Homonomy, by the I.C.Z.N., 1959, Opin. Decl. int. Commn zool. Nom. 20 (Opinion 536): [27]. It was placed on the Official Index of Rejected and Invalid Generic Names in Zoology with Name No. 1225. In the same Opinion Oeobia was ruled to be the valid emendation of * Oebia, an incorrect original spelling. See also: Hellula Gueneé, 1854.
