Memo: Hemming (1967) stated:- In the text published (as noted above) in January 1852 Westwood again placed in this genus only Ogyris abrota, apart from a manuscript species (which he called idmo), which, being undescribed, has no status in zoological nomenclature. OGYRIS was included within the subfamily LYCAENIDAE: LYCAENINAE by Ackery et al., in Kristensen (1999). The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008).
