Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- A usage of Omiodes Gueneé, 1854, by Felder, 1875, in Felder & Rogenhofer Reise öst. Fregatte Novara (Zool.) (Abt.2) Inhalts-Verz. to pls 108-140: 14, was listed in error by Neave, 1940 Nomencl. zool. 3: 410, as a Felder genus. OMIODES was included within the subfamily CRAMBIDAE: PYRAUSTINAE by Munroe & Solis, in Kristensen (1999). Shaffer (pers. comm.) treats OMIODES in the CRAMBIDAE: SPILOMELINAE.
