| Memo: | Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- Proposed unnecessarily as an objective replacement for Eromene Hübner [1825]. Kirby evidently believed, incorrectly, that the objective replacement name Euchromius Gueneé, 1845, was preoccupied by Euchromia Hübner [1819]. Kirby's Handbook was published in 1897 with identical text, pagination and plates in both Allen's Naturalist's Library and Lloyd's Natural History. |
