Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- This genus was originally proposed in the Astheninae (now Larentiinae), but was transferred to the Geometrinae by Prout, 1912, in Wytsman, Genera Insect. 129: 220. Parsons et al. (1999) included 7 species and 3 subspecies (inc. nominates) in the genus OMPHACODES.
