| Memo: | Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- The type-species is dated from the wrappers of the parts, not from the title-pages of the respective volumes. The plate was published a year earlier than the corresponding text, but the legend to Sesiides plate 10 is non-binominal. Opacosphecia was established as a subgenus of Bembecia Hübner, [1819].
