Memo: Nye (1975) and Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- ACIGONA has recently been used, wrongly, in the PYRALIDAE, CRAMBINAE, following the designation of the incorrect type-species Tinea cicatricella Hübner, [1824], by Bleszynski & Collins, 1962, Acta zool. cracov. 7: 198. See also: ACIGONIA Hübr, [1826]; ACOGONA Agassiz, 1847. Poole (1989) included ACIGONA Hübner, 1825; and GALAPHA Walker, 1858 as junior synonyms of EUCLYSTIS Hübner, 1823.
