Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- C. serotina was the name proposed for the misidentification Noctuai orbona Hufnagel sensu Hübner, [1803], Samml. eur. Schmett. 4: pl. 22, fig. 104. C. serotina is a junior subjective synonym of Noctua fragariae Vieweg, 1790, Tabellarisches Verz. Churmark Brandenburg einheimischen Schmett. 2: 56, pl. 2, figs 4, 5. Poole (1989) included ORBONA Hübner, 1821; ORRHODIA Hübner, 1821; GLOIA Hübner, 1822; GLAEA Stephens, 1829; and DASYCAMPA Guenée, 1837 as junior synonyms of CONISTRA Hübner, 1821.
