Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- * Osceola and the only included species-group name * Perlepidellus were nomina nuda. * Osceola was again published by Hulst, 1892, Can. Ent. 24: 62, and [1903] 1902, in Dyar, Bull. U.S. natn. Mus. 52: 442, each time in the synonymy of Chipeta Hulst. However, it has not subsequently been treated as an available name with its original date and authorship, so remains an unavailable name under the Code, Article 11(d). If Osceola Hulst had been an available name, it would have been a junior homonym of Osceola Baird & Girard, 1853 - Reptilia. The species-group name * Perlepidellus was subsequently published as an available name in the combination Chipeta perlepidella Hulst, 1892, the type-species of Chipeta Hulst, 1892.
