Memo: Hemming (1967) stated:- This is one of a number of cases where Hübner appropriated a name published by some previous author and used it as a name for a new genus of his own. The name Apatura Hübner is invalid as a junior homonym of Apatura Fabricius, 1807. The type-species selected for this genus made it objectively identical with Doleschallia Felder (C.) & Felder (R.), 1860. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008).
