Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- A junior homonym of Palmia Beutenmüller, 1896, Bull. Am. Mus. at. ist. 123 - Lepid. , Sesiidae. There is no objective replacement ame but E. adustalis was placed by Ghesquière, 1943, Revue ool. ot. afr. 37 98, as a senior subjective synonym of Eloeidiphilos aliberti Praviel, 1938, the type-species of Eloeidiphilos Praviel, 1938; the latter is thus available for use as a subjective replacement name.
