| Memo: | Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- P. arnea is dated from the wrapper of the part, not from the title-page of the volume, dated 1779. A second nominal species, Botys linalis Felder & Rogenhofer, 1875 Reise öst. Fregatte Novara (Zool.) (Abt . 2): pl. 137, fig. 9 was discussed by Warren, but it is evident that he considered it to be a junior subjective synonym of P. arnea Cramer, 1775. |
