| Memo: | Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- The type-species was proposed was proposed as * Schiffermuelleri on page 64 but was deliberately corrected to Schiffermilleri on page 423. It was proposed as an objective replacement name for Tinea hirsutella [Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775, which is the type-species of Leptopterix Hübner, [1825]. Parascioptera Hartig, 1936, is a junior objective synonym of Leptopterix Hübner, [1825]. Parascioptera was established to denote a subgenus of Lepidoscioptera Dalla Torre, 1913. |
