Memo: Nye & Fletcher (1991) included PARASYMMOCA in the family SYMMOCIDAE, treated by Hodges, in Kristensen (1999) as a subfamily of AUTOSTICHIDAE. Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Parasymmoca was included in the "Gelechiadae" by Fletcher, 1929, Mem. Dep. Agric. India (Ent.) 11: 164; and in the Gelechiadae Symmocinae, now Symmocidae, by Gozmany, 1967, Annls hist.-nat. Mus. natn. hung. (S.N.) 8: 326, 330.
