| Memo: | Hemming (1967) stated:- The taxon represented by the nominal species Pamphila howardi is currently treated subjectively on taxonomic grounds as being the same as that represented by the older-established nominal species Pamphila aaroni Skinner, 1890 (Ent. News 1 : 6). The name Paratrytone Dyar is invalid, as it is a junior homonym of Paratrytone Godman, [1900]. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008). |
