Memo: Hemming (1967) stated:- This name published by Fruhstorfer for a genus of Pierids is invalid, as it is a junior homonym of the same name published by Bethune-Baker for a genus of Lycaenids in 1904 in the serial cited immediately above. In 1914 Fruhstorfer (as has already been shown) replaced this name by the name Elodinesthes. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008).
