Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- Eumelea eugeniata was proposed by Guenée as the objective replacement name for Phalaena fimbriata Stoll, 1782, in Cramer, Uitlandsche Kapellen (Papillons exotiques) 4: 236, pl.398, fig.N, a junior primary homonym of Phalaena fimbriata Schreber, 1759, Novae Species Insect.: 13, fig.9 - Lepid. Noctuidae. Parsons et al. (1999) included 2 species and 3 subspecies (inc. nominates) in the genus PAREUMELEA.
