Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- The date of publication of the part of Seitz containing page 187, was stated on page 181 as 1911 February 8th in both the German and the English editions. Poole (1989) included PAREUPLEXIA in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE, subsequently restricted to the genus AMPHIPYRA by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Other genera formerly treated in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE are treated as HADENINAE by Kitching & Rawlins (loc. cit.). Poole (1989) included 15 species in the genus PAREUPLEXIA.
