Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- A junior homonym of Parthenos Hübner, [1819] 1816, Verz. bekannter Schmett. : 38, Lepid., Nymphalidae. The objective replacement name is Euparthenos Grote, 1876. See: EUPARTHENOS Grote, 1876. Poole (1989) included PARTHENOS Hübner, 1823; and CATOCALIRRHUS Andrews, 1877 as junior synonyms of EUPARTHENOS Grote, 1876.
