Memo: Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- Apisa was established in the Liparidae, now Lymantriidae; it was placed in the Arctiidae by Kirby, 1892, Synonymic Cat. Lepid. Heterocera 1: 220; and was placed in the Thyretidae by Kiriakoff, 1960, in Wytsman, Genera Insect. 214 (E): 49.
