Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- P. ora is dated from the wrapper of the part and not from the title-page of the volume, 1779. Perasia Hübner had three originally included species of which two, * P. ule Hübner, [1823], and * P. strigillaris Hübner, [1823], were nomina nuda. Poole (1989: 706) included PHURYS Guenée, 1852 as a junior synonym of NYMBIS Guenée, 1852. Poole (1989: 783 & 801) included PHURYS Guenée, 1852 as a junior synonym of PERASIA Hübner, 1823. Poole (1989) included 16 species in the genus PERASIA.
