Pericallia was again proposed by Stephens, 1829 [June], Nom. Br. Insects: 43; 1829 [July], Syst. Cat. Br. Insects (2): 120; and 1831, Illust. Br. Ent. (Haustellata) 3: 171. See: APEIRA Gistl, 1848. Parsons et al. (1999) included CYPHOSEA Grote, 1896; and PERICALLIA Stephens, 1828 as junior synonyms of APEIRA Gistl, 1848. |
