Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- P. spiculata is a junior subjective synonym of Salagena transversa Walker, 1865, List Specimens lepid. Insects Colln Br. Mus. 32: 590. Pettigramma was established in the Lymantriidae; it was placed in the Arbelidae, now Metarbelidae, by Hampson, 1910, Ann. Mag. nat. Hist. (8) 6: 120. See also: Salagena Walker, 1865, and Catarbela Aurivillius, 1901.
