| Memo: | Nye (1975) stated:- S. morena was originally proposed in * Sarothripa, an incorrect subsequent spelling. Poole (1989) included PHAEOTHRIPA in the subfamily NOCTUIDAE: SARROTHRIPINAE, which are included as a tribe within the NOLIDAE: CHLOEPHORINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Poole (1989) included only 1 species in the genus PHAEOTHRIPA. |
