Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- A junior homonym of Phaesyle Duponchel, [1845] 1844, Cat. méth. Lépid. Eur.: 254 - Lepid. Geometridae, and a junior objective synonym of Hydriomena Hübner, [1825]. Livraisons 5 & 6 of the Mémoires which included Bruand's paper were dated 1847 in a note published in 1847, Annls Soc. ent. Fr. (2) 5 (Bull. ent.): cii. See: HYDRIOMENA Hübner, [1825] 1816. Parsons et al. (1999) included HYPSIPETES Agassiz, 1847; HYPSIPETES Swinhoe, 1831; KARACIDARIA Matsumura, 1925; PHAESYLE Bruand, 1847; RHODOMENA Warren, 1904; and YPSIPETES Stephens, 1829 as junior synonyms of HYDRIOMENA Hübner, 1825.
