Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- P. fimbriares is a junior subjective synonym of Limacodes conjuncta Walker, 1855, ibidem 5: 1150. Phlossa was originally placed in the Noctuidae. Phlossa Walker, 1858, is a valid genus, revalidated by Inoue, Sugi, Kuroko, Moriuti & Kawabe, 1982, Moths of Japan. Vol. 2. (Plates and synonymic catalogue) : 221. Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- P. fimbriares is a junior subjective synonym of Limacodes conjuncta Walker, 1855, ibidem 5: 1150. Phlossa was established in the Noctuidae; it was placed in the Limacodidae by Swinhoe, 1892, Cat. east. and Aust. Lepid. Heterocera Colln Oxf. Univ. Mus. 1: 233.
