Memo: Hemming (1967) stated:- This name is invalid, as it is a junior objective synonym of Heliconius Kluk, 1802, the two genera having the same species as type-species. This name was placed by the Commission in Opinion 382 (1956, Opin. int. Comm. zool. Nom. 12 : 43-58) on the Official Index of Rejected and Invalid Generic Names in Zoology as Name No. 385. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008).
