| Memo: | Nye (1975) and Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- Platychasma was established in the Notodontidae; it was transferred to the Noctuidae by Kiriakoff, 1963, J. Lepid. Soc. 17: 33. PLATYCHASMA was included within the subfamily OPHIDERINAE by Poole (1989) and within the NOTODONTIDAE: PLATYCHASMATINAE by Sugi (1982, 1987), Holloway (1989) and Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Poole (1989) included only 1 species in the genus PLATYCHASMA. |
