Memo: Acompsia Hübner, [1825] was referred to the Anacampsinae from Gelechiinae (within the Gelechiidae) by Kuznetzov & Stekolnikov, 1984, Trudy Zoologicheskogo Instituta Akademii Nauk SSSR 122 : 33. Acompsia was treated in the Gelechiidae in Nye and Fletcher, 1991 Generic Names Moths World, 6 : 4. Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- The citation by Duponchel is acceptable as a type-species designation as it is contained in the continuation of a layout in which Duponchel stated, in the same work 7 (2): 102, that the species so cited were the types of genera. See also: * Acampsia Westwood, 1840; * Accompsia Bruand, (1851); Brachycrossata Heinemann, 1870.
