Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- A junior homonym of Plumipalpia Hampson, 1898, J. Bombay nat. Hist. Soc. 11: 705 - Lepid., Noctuidae. No replacement name is currently available. Plumipalpia Munroe, 1961 is a preoccupied name replaced by Plumipalpiella Heppner, 1995 Atlas of Neotropical Lepidoptera. Volume 3. Checklist : part 2. Hyblaeoidea - Pyraloidea - Tortricoidea : 6. Shaffer (pers. comm.) treats PLUMIPALPIA in the CRAMBIDAE: ODONTIINAE.
