| Memo: | Fletcher (1979) stated:- From a multiple original spelling in which both Porona and * Porana were used I adopt Porona, the spelling used by subsequent authors. Parsons et al. (1999) included 3 species in the genus PORONA. Pitkin (2002) included Hemioplisis Herrich-Schäffer, 1855; Comibaena Herrich-Schäffer, 1855; Drepanodes Guenée, [1858]; Halesa Walker, 1860; Astatomorpha Warren, 1894; and Porona Schaus, 1901 as junior synonyms of Patalene Herrich-Schäffer, [1854] 1 |
