| Memo: | Hemming (1967) stated:- The name Potamis Hübner, as of the Tentamen, is invalid, owing to the rejection by the Commission of that pamphlet for nomenclatorial purposes. If the name Potamis Hübner had been an available name as from the Tentamen, it would have replaced the name Apatura Fabricius, 1807, of which it would have been an objective synonym. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008). |
