Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- Pyralis literalis [Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775 Ankündung syst. Werkes Schmett. Wienergegend: 121 footnote, 122 (cited by Doubleday as `literalis, Scop.', an incorrect authorship) is an unjustified emendation and a junior objective synonym of Phalaena litterata Scopoli 1763, and under the Code, Article 67(e), the senior objective synonym should be cited as the type-species. Prodelia was a Gueneé manuscript name made nomenclaturally available by Doubleday. It is a junior objective synonym of Diasemia Hübner, [1825]. The date of publication of the part of Doubleday's List is taken from Griffin, 1937, J. Soc. Biblphy nat. Hist. 1 (3): 87. See also: Goniogramma Mann, 1854.
