| Memo: | Fletcher (1979) stated:- This genus was originally proposed in the Sterrhinae, but has since been transferred to the Oenochrominae by Turner, 1929, ibidem 54: 493, when he placed P. dryina as a junior subjective synonym of Taxeotis endela Meyrick, 1890, ibidem (2) 4: 1142. Parsons et al. (1999) included PROTYPA turner, 1916; and TAXEOTIS Meyrick, 1890 as junior synonyms of TAXEOTIS Guest, 1887. |
