| Memo: | Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Pseudatteria originated from Walsingham but was published and unintentionally made nomenclaturally available by Meyrick prior to its proposal and generic description by Walsingham for a similiar concept but having a different type-species. Razowski, 1977, Acta zool. cracov. 22: 276, stated that Pseudatteria Meyrick, 1912, was a nomen nudum and he did not accept it as an available name from the date. Under the Code (Edn 3), Article 12(a) and (b)(5), the publication of a generic name before 1931 in combination with an available species-group name makes that generic name nomenclaturally available. PSEUDATTERIA was included within the subfamily TORTRICIDAE: CHLIDANOTINAE by Horak, in Kristensen (1999). Listed under PSEUDATTERIA Walsingham, 1913, Biol. Centr.-Am. Lepid.
