Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- The date of publication of the part of Seitz containing page 169 was stated at the top of the page as 1913 April 10th in both the German and the English editions. Poole (1989) included PSEUDERIOPUS in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE, subsequently restricted to the genus AMPHIPYRA by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Other genera formerly treated in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE are treated as HADENINAE by Kitching & Rawlins (loc. cit.). Poole (1989) included only 1 species in the genus.
