| Memo: | Pooler (1989) included PSEUDOPSEUSTIS Hampson, 1910 in the NOCTUIDAE : AMPHIPYRINAE, subsequently restricted to the genus AMPHIPYRA by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Other genera formerly treated in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE are treated as HADENINAE by Kitching & Rawlins (loc. cit.). Poole (1989) included TETRACHELA Hampson, 1918 as a junior synonym of PSEUDOPSEUSTIS Hampson, 1910. Poole (1989) included 5 species in the genus PSEUDOPSEUSTIS. Pseudopseustis Hampson, 1910, was treated as a senior synonym of Jaxartia Pungeler, 1914, by Varga and Ronkay, 1991, Acta Zoologica Hungarica37 (3-4) : p. 288. Pseudopseustis was then downgraded to denote a subgenus of Pseudohadena Alphéraky, 1889 by Ronkay, Varga and Fabian, 1995, Acta Zoologica Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae 41 (3) : 276. |
