Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- This genus was originally proposed in the Pterothysanidae, but has since been transferred to the Lymantriidae, where it was placed by Collenette, 1955, Trans. R. ent. Soc. Lond. 107: 190. Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- The date of publication of the part of the Seitz containing page 124 was cited on page 121 as 9.x.1926 in both the German and English editions. Pseudostracilla was established in the Pterothysanidae; it was placed in the Lymantriidae by Collenette, 1955, Trans. R. ent. Soc. Lond. 107: 190.
